RULES

· Registration

Each participant will be able to set up a single aquarium. Participants must first make the payment of registration and then send their data with the proof of payment. The registration period ends on 25th September, 2011. From that date, the organization can not ensure the acceptance of more participants. No registration will be considered until receivig the related income. After the registration period will not be any refund for non-attendance of the participant.

· Equipment and Materials:

All the participants will have the following material donated by the organization:

- 1 kit Wave Box Cubo 40: Round corner glass tank of 28 l (40x25x28 cm), 11W PL lighting and hang-on filter
- 3 l of AquaGro nutraSoil substrate (colour: Brown)
- Dechlorinated water

The rest of the materials (rocks, wood, plants, etc.) and tools must be supplied by the participant.

· Set-up:

All pre-registered participants will collect the material throughout the morning from 10:00 of Saturday, October 1st. The design should be completed at 14:00, when all the participants must leave their work finished. The jury will evaluate the aquariums between Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The result will be announced Sunday at noon.
All the aquaria will be part of the exhibition area of the Fair and will remain mounted throughout the event. They cannot be withdrawn until Sunday at 18:00 pm. The AAB will not be responsible for the custody nor the subsequent shipment of any tanks that cannot be removed by their owner at the stipulated time .

The kit will be delivered only to registered participants who attend the contest and set up their aquarium. Non-participation does not entitle the gift.

· Evaluation

The decision is final and scored the following:

- General Impression - max. 35 points
· Positive Visual Impact
· Harmony of the overall scape
· Originality

- Composition, balance, use of the space and colour - max. 30 pts.
· Balance of the different elements
· Efficient use of the space
· balance between open spaces and closed ones
· Colour harmony between the different elements.

- Selection and use of materials - max. 20 pts
· Selected materials suitable to be used in acuarium
· Harmony and complementariety of the different materials.
· Wellness of the plants

- Long-term Viability of the aquascape- max.15 pts.
· Possibilities of a good evolution at long term
· Selection and setting-up of the plants for a good maintenance at long term.

PRIZES

• 1^st Prize: material valued at 1.000€ aprox.

• 2^nd Prize: material valued at 500€ aprox.

• 3^{th Prize}: material valued at 300€ aprox.
